The Coding Crew - 10 Week Small Group ($480)

Interested in computer coding and learning to build your own animations? What about building a game? This 10 week interactive course teaches 3rd-6th grade students the basics of block coding using Scratch. Block coding introduces fundamental program conceps such as sequencing, loops, conditionals, and variables in a fun and visual system that makes it easier for kids to understand and manipulate code logic.

This course splits into two sections (with a one week break in the middle!). The Coding Crew meets on Wednesdays from 4:30-6:00 February 21st-March 20th and April 3rd-May 1st.

2

Art Workshops ($250/course)

Spring Topic: Oil Pastel

Each session includes a short lesson on an artistic concept, then students work independently while the instructor(s) rotate through giving individual feedback. These four week virtual workshops are great for all ages, but we recommend younger students are directly supervised by an adult, just in case!

3

Music Tutoring ($80/hour)

Taught by a professional, internationally-performing musician, our music program covers bassoon, flute, trombone, and other brass instruments for beginners forward, as well as musicality for more advanced students.

4

Earth Education Workshop ($250/course)

These hands-on excursions are designed to connect classroom experience with real world adventures! Students learn about California's unique habitats by exploring local water ecosystems and build strength and awareness along the way.

This is an ideal workshop for new explorers, as all supplies are included--

the only thing you need to be concerned about is wearing comfy shoes!

5

Developed by a native Californian who has taught both in California and Spain, our Spanish program is designed with an emphasis on learning through relationship and conversational speaking.

Spanish small groups meet twice a week, beginning in October, and are aligned with CA state standards.
