STMA Law Enforcement Investigations
Service Description
The Law Enforcement Investigations Academy is a two-day onsite intensive training experience designed for peace officers who may encounter and investigate threatening behavior such as stalking and threats of targeted violence, whether implied or explicit. The class is a fast moving mix of theory and practical tabletop exercises based on actual criminal cases. Lead instructor Byron Wong works in a threat assessment unit for one of the largest law enforcement agencies in the country and has assessed, investigated, and/or assisted in excess of 5,000 inappropriate contacts/ communications, suspicious circumstances, and threats relating to public officials. Class facilitator Chris Stevens has built teams and organized hands-on training for a variety of law enforcement agencies, corporate teams, and non-profit volunteer groups around the world. Both are veteran peace officers and Certified Threat Managers. All attendees will receive a certificate of completion. We invite your agency to talk with us about hosting an academy.
