Educational Support
Summit works closely with professionals in the education sphere to provide holistic learning support to TK-12 students. Because space is limited, sessions must be scheduled through our Education Department, and all students must be registered. You can register your students now, and someone will reach out to you, or you can contact us, and a staff member will follow up with you directly.

One-on-One Tutoring
One-on-one tutoring is designed to help students who are struggling with a particular subject or need some extra support and guidance. Tutoring can be for any subject or as a general assistance time.
Students are matched with a tutor based on their age, needs, and availability, and then meet with the tutor at regularly scheduled intervals every week. Tutors review the student's progress, work with them on new concepts or tough spots, and help them set goals as to what they should accomplish by their next meeting.
This is an ideal workshop for new explorers, as the only things you need to be concerned about are wearing comfy shoes and sun screen! Together, we venture out to a new location each week and discuss a concept of how we can and should interact with nature. We begin with very simple, short, easy trails with no climbing or incline and work up to longer trails with some incline. Between each adventure, families are provided with mini activities and extra information to support learning integration. Because of the nature of these excursions, students must be accompanied by an adult through all aspects of our time together.
Workshops take place on Fridays, although they may be rescheduled to Saturday depending on weather conditions. Session lengths vary, but generally will fill a morning. Babies and toddlers are welcome, but cannot be enrolled in the workshop. Some trails may not be appropriate for strollers.
Small Group Sessions
Small group sessions are designed for students who can work independently, but benefit from regular check-ins and support.
Students meet for 45 minute sessions twice a week with their group to cover trouble spots, discuss new concepts, and work on projects. Groups are made up of 3 to 8 students. Our Little Learners groups focuses on foundational skills, while Skill Climbers covers core subjects for middle-grade students, and finally our High School groups offer core and elective topics.
Foreign Language Tutoring
Our foreign language tutoring options allow students of all ages to work one-on-one with a fluent and/or native speaker to further develop skills in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension. Our foreign language programs are designed to provide live support for learners who are wishing to take their skills to a new level, and is not a complete language learning program in and of itself.

Foreign language tutoring is billed at $80 an hour. We currently only have times open for Spanish and Arabic, but can place individuals on a wait list for French, Chinese, and ASL.
