Educational Support
Summit works closely with professionals in the education sphere to provide holistic learning support to TK-12 students. Because space is limited, sessions must be scheduled through our Education Department, and all students must be registered. You can register your students now, and someone will reach out to you, or you can contact us, and a staff member will follow up with you directly.
One-on-One Tutoring

One-on-one tutoring is designed to help students who are struggling with a particular subject or need some extra support and guidance. Tutoring can be for any subject or as a general assistance time.
Students are matched with a tutor based on their age, needs, and availability, and then meet with the tutor at regularly scheduled intervals every week. Tutors review the student's progress, work with them on new concepts or tough spots, and help them set goals as to what they should accomplish by their next meeting.
Tutoring is billed at $53 an hour, with a minimum session time of one hour: if you are working through a charter, your school may have a special agreement with us, so please reach out for further details.

Small Group Sessions

Small group sessions are designed for students who can work independently, but benefit from regular check-ins and support.
Students meet for 45 minute sessions twice a week with their group to cover trouble spots, discuss new concepts, and work on projects. Groups are made up of 3 to 8 students. Our Little Learners groups focuses on foundational skills, while Skill Climbers covers core subjects for middle-grade students, and finally our High School groups offer core and elective topics.

Small group tutoring is generally billed at $24 a session, though some sessions can be bundled by semester.

Foreign Language Tutoring

Our foreign language tutoring options allow students of all ages to work one-on-one with a fluent and/or native speaker to further develop skills in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension. Our foreign language programs are designed to provide live support for learners who are wishing to take their skills to a new level, and is not a complete language learning program in and of itself.

Foreign language tutoring is billed at $80 an hour. We currently only have times open for Spanish and Arabic, but can place individuals on a wait list for French, Chinese, and ASL.

One-on-One Music Instruction

Our one-on-one music instruction is designed and run by professional musicians. Summit currently offers instruction for brass instruments at all levels and musicality instruction for advanced players of any instrument.

One-on-one music instruction is billed at $80 an hour and is available for in-person and remote instruction. For some instruments, the first few sessions may need to be in-person.

Study Hall

Study hall is a subscription service that allows students to drop-in and complete work, study, and receive guidance from our staff on how to best complete their assignments for any subject or class. Staff can also work with students on planning, organization, and goal setting to help them build the skills they need to become independent learners.

Study hall is a great option for students who do not need one-on-one tutoring, but would benefit from consistent access to support. Study Hall is already included if a student is enrolled in any of our group sessions.

Study hall is $75 a month.

Special Interest Workshops

Special Interest Workshops, covering topics in art, science, and earth education, are offered intermittently. No workshops are scheduled right now, but if you are interested in future workshops, feel free to sign up for alerts.

Workshops are usually $250, and run for 4 or 6 weeks.
